With its dramatically swollen internodes, this bamboo can be a major element in your landscape. Excellent smaller garden choice when maintained, and perfect for beach locations. Lower elevation plays a significant role in how fast and how extremely the plant will belly. This also results in shorter plants.

Lumpy Noodle is sometimes mistaken for Buddha Belly but Buddha Belly will most often revert to straight tall canes in the ground. Lumpy Noodle on the other hand, will belly reliably at lower elevations. We do not recommend above 2000Γ€™ and like it best close to sea level in full sun.
