Dendrocalamus minor ‘Amoenus’
A gorgeous & elegant ornamental specimen, generally to around 30- 40 feet tall.
Canes emerge shimmery-iridescent-silvery green. Highly polished canes (2 -3 inches) age to bright yellow with green stripes.
Leaves are medium size and stand up well to the wind.
Shoots are edible. Excellent windbreak or visual screen.
Good drought tolerance. Used or light construction and crafts.
This is a fabulous looking large container plant as well.
