Borinda fungosa
A beautiful bamboo from the Chinese side of the Himalayas.
To about 18 feet tall, with longish leaves and slender canes, this plant is lovely in containers and in the landscape where it prefers cool temperatures and some cloud cover. NOT COASTAL. New canes go dark burgundy but for some reason it’s called chocolate. Whatever……..
